Prime is the range Grill Guru puts above the Original: thicker ceramic, a heavier hinge and a matt or satin black finish instead of the entry range’s grey. At compact size that is a bit over a hundred euros more than the Original Compact.
Whether it is worth it depends on how often you open it. At this size the ceramic behaves much the same; the hinge and the top cap are what you touch every time, and that is exactly what the Original gets pulled up on.
Who it suits: Anyone staying compact who does not want to give up on the hardware.
